Connecting a custom domain

Point your own domain (yoursite.com) at your Plattr storefront via Cloudflare DNS.

Out of the box your storefront lives at your-business.onplattr.com. To use your own domain:

Step 1 — Add the domain in Plattr

Open Settings → Domains and click Add domain. Type your domain (e.g. cafekiwi.co.nz) and click Verify.

Step 2 — Add the DNS records

Plattr will show you two records to add at your DNS provider:

TYPE NAME VALUE
CNAME cafekiwi.co.nz store.onplattr.com
CNAME www.cafekiwi.co.nz store.onplattr.com

If you use Cloudflare, leave the orange cloud on (proxied) — Plattr handles the origin certificate.

Step 3 — Wait for verification

DNS usually propagates within a few minutes. Plattr re-checks every 60 seconds; you'll see a green tick when it's live.

Troubleshooting

  • Stuck on "Verifying" — check your DNS records actually point to store.onplattr.com using whatsmydns.net.
  • SSL warning — the certificate provisions within 5-10 minutes of verification. Refresh.
